Industrial Object and IBC present a UAV system to both quell the capability of the enemy in any coastal, riverine, urban, mountainous or jungle stronghold, allowing surgical elimination of the enemy and keeping our best Marines and Army soldiers far out of harms way. This new UAV system is not autonomous, It will always be remotely "manned" by a trained soldier with the same weapons release protocols he maintains as deployed. This system becomes an un-penetratable shield for the US foot soldier in action, extending his firepower deep into the enemy's once hidden strongholds.

The IBC Nightcat "Mother ship"

CASPOR has exceptional range and amphibious capabilities due to its host launching, refuel and recover platform. Most areas and the majority of cities are located on or near ocean coast, rivers or lakes. The CASPOR mother ship is based on the proven, patented 27' catamaran. The twin hull configuration allows exceptional stability, blue water sea-keeping and tracking at the lowest possible draft for shallow water operations. Diesel power will augment the systems deployable range up to 1500 miles, loiter time can be days to weeks.

The IBC Mothership combined with its unique introduction here as an unmanned re-fuelling "UAV tanker" presents an industry first to greatly increase in UAV range, endurance and flexibility. The Mothership can be positioned, relay chained or as pre-position islands for numerous UAVs to be deployed from a central rear-area. The daisy chained placement of re-fuelling Motherships can be laid across oceans or placed deep in-country using ubiquitous river systems.
The remote piloted Mothership will use proven open water and riverine navigation. Unlike wheeled vehicles which have yet to show a reliable ability to transverse land unmanned the IBC Mothership is a go-anywhere range extending tool for unprecedented UAV power projection

The Hover "Platform"

Our CASPOR UAV utilises the revolutionary application of our "ballistic centrifugal fan" for its lift and propulsion. These shrouded fans are silent and robust. The propulsion system and craft is fully protected from damage from obstacles encountered during transit. Most significantly the fans are ballistic damage tolerant in the event of SMG or shrapnel directed at it while the UAV targets the enemy using sniper triangulation sonar and returns fire. It is a primary goal to have the latest in this sniper triangulation technology incorporated into our automated gun aiming platform, firing decision will always be vetted by the controller/soldier under command authority.

The quiet nature of the CASPOR propulsion system is the primary departure from any other existing UAV development program both VOTL and fixed wing, all of which use axial propeller "technology". The offering of our proven and integrated propulsion system using this ground breaking ballistic centrifugal fan technology has as one would expect come from outside the aircraft industry. The implementation of this innovative propulsion system allows unprecedented controllability and heavier payload capacity in a smaller vehicle package than a rotor-craft or ducted fan driven UAV.

System objectives,

VOTL of remote controlled SMG/grenade launcher
Urban and sub-jungle canopy mobility, able to bump obstacles and go-around
Extended range, ability to loiter or pre-position
Ocean and riverine based mother ship
Tolerant to gunfire and shrapnel
Flexible weapons mounting and control
Complete sensor suite laser targeting integration
US Armed forces complete inter operability
Night and foul weather operations
Stealthy low noise, heat and radar signature
Cheap drone craft, indistinguishable from active UAV
Swarm and coordinated flocking operability
Intelligent enemy fire detection and location

The outline of our proposed system reveals a confluence of several well established technologies providing a new asymmetric war fighting ability.

The CASPOR system was presented for the first time to a major defence firm in Dec 2007, Industrial Object is presently seeking electronics and weapons integration partners for its Patent Pending UAV gun ship and sea launched Mothership design. Contact us for more information.
